Qualifications

• Extensive experience handling complex/high-value claims.
• Chartered Loss Adjuster status or equivalent.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Doha, Qatar, for a Senior Loss Adjuster / Country Manager. The role involves leading complex and high-value claims investigations, assessing policy coverage, evaluating loss scenarios, and recommending fair and defensible settlements. The Senior Loss Adjuster / Country Manager will oversee local claims operations, manage client relationships, and ensure adherence to company standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices across Qatar. Responsibilities include mentoring and supervising team members, preparing detailed reports and technical documentation, supporting risk advisory engagements, and representing the firm with insurers, brokers, and insured parties. The position requires close coordination with regional and global colleagues to maintain consistent quality, share expertise, and support business development initiatives in the market.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in claims handling and claims management, with a track record of managing complex and high-value cases.
• Proficiency in adjustments and property claims, including site inspections, loss quantification, and negotiation of settlements.
• Solid knowledge of insurance principles and practices, particularly in commercial and property lines.
• Experience in leadership or country management roles, with the ability to oversee operations, teams, and client portfolios.
• Excellent analytical, report-writing, and communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to explain technical matters clearly.
• Demonstrated capability in stakeholder management, including insurers, brokers, corporate clients, and regulatory bodies.
• Relevant professional qualifications such as Chartered Loss Adjuster status and/or a degree in insurance, law, engineering, finance, or a related field.
• Familiarity with the local insurance market in Qatar or the GCC region, and willingness to work on-site in Doha.
• High ethical standards, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
