Job summary

QatarEnergy LNG is seeking an experienced marine assurance leader to manage compliance, risk assessment and operational readiness for LNG loading facilities. The role requires coordination of terminal audits, provision of expert technical guidance, and active participation in emergency response activities to ensure safe and compliant ship-shore interfaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marine engineering or class 1 certificate of competency (Master Mariner) required.
• Knowledge of OCIMF, SIGTTO, IMO and related regulations preferred.
• Experience with LNG shipping and terminal operations desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement marine assurance frameworks, policies and standards aligned with OCIMF and IMO guidelines.
• Coordinate marine terminal audits and performance reviews to identify gaps and drive improvements.
• Provide specialist marine operational advice to support informed decision-making on vessel loading and operations.
• Maintain vessel and marine assurance databases; monitor KPIs and trends for risk reduction.
• Lead or participate in emergency drills and incident investigations; support crisis management.
• Drive safety, environmental initiatives and continuous improvement in loading operations.
