The successful candidate will contribute to high-quality teaching, research, and curriculum development in cybersecurity and related computing disciplines, ensuring alignment with international academic standards and transnational education (TNE) quality frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
A. Teaching & Academic Delivery
- Deliver courses in Cybersecurity and related Computer Science subjects.
- Develop and update course materials in alignment with partner university standards.
- Design and evaluate assessments aligned with learning outcomes.
- Supervise student projects, capstone work, and internships.
- Utilize modern teaching methodologies including blended and online learning platforms.
- Maintain accurate academic records and comply with institutional policies.
B. Research & Scholarly Engagement
- Conduct independent and collaborative research in cybersecurity domains.
- Publish in reputable peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
- Contribute to research strategy and innovation initiatives.
- Engage in applied research relevant to industry and national priorities.
- Participate in curriculum review and program enhancement.
- Ensure compliance with accreditation and quality assurance requirements.
- Contribute to academic committees and departmental initiatives.
C. Industry & Community Engagement
- Establish industry collaborations in cybersecurity.
- Support internship placements and applied industry projects.
- Deliver workshops, seminars, or professional development training when required.
Requirements
- PhD in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated higher education teaching experience.
- Strong foundation in cybersecurity principles and applied practices.
