Job summary

QAFCO (Qatar Fertiliser Company) is seeking a Senior IT Systems Analyst to analyse business needs, identify problems, and propose IT solutions. The role liaises with stakeholders to elicit requirements and translate them into effective project plans and system changes.

The incumbent will drive internal IT projects, safeguard project management standards, and ensure timely delivery within budget while aligning with quality and safety guidelines. Strong SAP experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology/ management information system or relevant discipline.
• 5-8 years direct and relevant experience.
• Experience in SAP SAP S4/HANA modules, preferably SAP S4/HANA.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor IT policies, procedures and methodologies.
• Consult with users to identify and document business requirements and problems to automate or improve existing systems/processes.
• Translate business requirements into process diagrams for End-Users.
• Configure and maintain system/software to meet end-user needs.
• Supervise programming activities and ensure adherence to methodologies and procedures.
• Coordinate with Business for User Acceptance Sign Offs.
