Job summary

Parsons in Qatar is seeking a Project Manager Assistant to support planning, scheduling, and coordination of infrastructure and engineering projects.

You will assist the Project Manager to ensure on-time delivery, within budget, and to required quality standards, working with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders across the project lifecycle. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in project management, preferably in construction/infrastructure.
• Experience on infrastructure projects (roads, drainage, utilities, civil works).
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 or MS Project and MS Office suite.
• MME certification in Qatar is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and coordinating project activities.
• Monitor progress and prepare status updates for management and stakeholders.
• Support development of project budgets, schedules, and resource allocations.
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to align with objectives.
• Prepare project documentation such as reports, presentations, and meeting minutes.
• Identify risks and assist in mitigation actions.
• Help ensure compliance with health and safety and quality standards.
• Review and track deliverables to meet client requirements and contracts.
• Support contracts, procurement, and vendor coordination.
• Conduct or support site visits to monitor progress and risks.
