Job summary

UCC Holding is seeking an experienced HSE Leader to drive health, safety, and environmental systems across oil & gas operations in Qatar. You will ensure regulatory compliance and promote a strong safety culture, leading process safety, site safety, audits, and contractor oversight.

The role requires 12+ years in HSE in oil & gas, EPC project experience, and strong leadership and communication skills to manage high-risk activities and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, HSE, or related field.
• 12+ years of HSE experience in oil & gas.
• Experience in EPC projects and live plant environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HSE policies and strategies across projects and operations.
• Ensure compliance with oil & gas safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Lead process safety management (HAZOP, HAZID, risk assessments, etc.).
• Oversee site safety during construction, commissioning, and operations.
• Monitor and manage contractor HSE performance.
• Investigate incidents and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Ensure environmental compliance (waste, emissions, spills, etc.).
• Conduct audits and inspections to maintain HSE standards.
• Lead emergency response planning and drills.
• Promote safety awareness and training across teams.
