Job summary

UCC Holding is seeking an experienced HSE Manager – Oil & Gas to lead health, safety, and environmental systems across projects and operations in Qatar. The role emphasizes compliance with regulations, strong safety culture, and leadership across construction, commissioning, and operations.

The candidate will oversee process safety management, manage contractors, and drive environmental stewardship while promoting continuous improvement and safety training throughout the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, HSE, or related field.
• NEBOSH / IOSH / ISO certifications preferred.
• 12+ years in HSE within oil & gas industry.
• Experience in EPC projects and live plant environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HSE policies and strategies across projects and operations.
• Ensure compliance with oil & gas safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Lead process safety management (HAZOP, HAZID, risk assessments, etc.).
• Oversee site safety during construction, commissioning, and operations.
• Monitor and manage contractor HSE performance.
• Investigate incidents and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Ensure environmental compliance (waste, emissions, spills, etc.).
• Conduct audits and inspections to maintain HSE standards.
• Lead emergency response planning and drills.
• Promote safety awareness and training across teams.
