Job summary

Brunel is seeking an experienced HSE Lead to act as the vessel/site based HSE representative for an LNG project in Qatar. You will ensure contractor compliance with Qatari and international HSE regulations, develop and implement safety plans, and lead risk assessments and HSE reviews across design, construction and offshore activities.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor’s in Safety, NEBOSH certificates, offshore HSE background, and OPITO training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or NVQ6 in Health and Safety with offshore experience.
• NEBOSH certs and OPITO training are mandatory.
• Auditing ISO standards and leading HSE programs offshore.

Responsibilities

• Act as vessel/site HSE rep ensuring contractor compliance with HSE systems.
• Prepare safety plans and work schedules for project completion.
• Lead risk assessments, HAZIDs, DRAs, and readiness reviews.
• Monitor contractor HSE performance and life-saving rules compliance.
• Liaise with client, contractor and subcontractors on HSE matters.

OPITO BOSIET/FOET/HUET

ISO 9001/14001/45001 Auditor
