Job summary

SPIE Global Services Energy in Doha, Qatar is seeking a capable Garage Supervisor with extensive experience in all aspects of garage services. The role focuses on planning and executing preventive maintenance for mobile and static diesel-driven equipment, and repairing hydraulic systems across heavy lifting vehicles and portable gear.

Key duties include coordinating maintenance for diesel generators, pumps, air compressors, cranes, trucks, and firefighting equipment, while ensuring timely PM

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Heavy Equipment maintenance.
• Educational background in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Experience with Firefighting equipment/vehicles is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor routine and preventive maintenance of vehicles/equipment at the plant.
• Assign technicians to maintenance programs and respond to breakdowns and emergencies.
• Supervise spare parts replacements using proper tools and specifications.
• Diagnose electrical/electronic defects and rectify them.
• Oversee overhauling of hydraulic pumps and related equipment.
