Job summary

Qatar Aircraft Catering Company is seeking an Equipment Operator to manage both light and heavy vehicles, including catering high loaders. You will ensure timely loading and offloading of flights, adhering to SOPs and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include on-time dispatch, safety compliance, and accurate reporting. The role requires familiarity with airside operations and a valid heavy vehicle license, with English proficiency mandatory.

Qualifications

• High School qualification with at least 1 year of related experience.
• Experience operating airline catering high-loader or hi-lift trucks or equivalent GSE.
• Holder of a trailer license or heavy-goods vehicle license.
• Familiar with airside/ramp safety.
• Experience operating hydraulic vehicles.
• Good English communication (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• On-time dispatching of allocated flights per specifications and plans.
• Follow speed limits and wear seat belts for all vehicles.
• Load and off-load catering safely as per customer specs.
• Prepare clear reports on delays or incidents with facts.
• Coordinate with Transport and duty supervisors during emergencies.
• Handover and sign-off vehicles to the next shift.
