Job summary

Mekdam Technical Services in Doha seeks a Head of Engineering (Studies) to lead multi-discipline studies for major oil and gas projects. You will drive technical integrity, supervise engineers, and coordinate with clients and vendors to ensure design deliverables meet schedule and budget.

The ideal candidate has at least 10 years in the discipline, with 6 years in senior engineering roles on large capital projects and at least 2 years in supervisory or oversight duties.

Qualifications

• Ten years of experience in discipline with at least 6 years demonstrated senior engineering experience in major capital projects in the oil and gas sector.
• Demonstrated ability and sensitivity to work with people from variety of cultural backgrounds.
• 2 years experience in a supervisory or acting role, or oversight of contractor/sub-contractors/service/vendor personnel.
