Job summary

GHD in Doha seeks a Senior Energy Consultant to lead and deliver energy sector work across the Middle East, applying expertise in electricity networks, renewables, energy storage and advisory services.

You will independently deliver and coordinate technical work, translate complex engineering matters into practical recommendations, mentor junior professionals, and contribute to proposals and business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Energy or Power Engineering, or related discipline. Postgraduate qualification advantageous.
• Minimum of eight years in consulting, utilities, project development, engineering, EPC, Owner's Engineer or technical advisory.
• Demonstrated depth in electricity networks, renewables, energy storage, grid connection or modelling.
• Fluency in English, strong written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary energy projects across electricity networks, renewables and energy storage.
• Deliver feasibility studies, options analyses and techno-economic assessments.
• Provide technical due diligence and Owner's Engineer services.
• Support proposals, client development and business opportunities.
