Job summary

Petrotec Group seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in testing and commissioning of HV/LV switchgear up to 33 kV. You will work on protection systems, including CTs, VTs, protection relays, VFDs, UPS, and transformers, with expertise in IEC 61850 and MODBUS/RTU communications.

Responsibilities include FAT/SAT testing, documentation, and coordinating with vendors and clients to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is required.
Minimum 8 years of proven experience in protection systems.
Hands-on testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of HV/LV switchgear up to 33 kV.

Responsibilities

Participate in FAT/SAT testing, inspection, and commissioning activities.
Diagnose faults in electrical and protection systems and implement corrective actions.
Review engineering drawings, relay setting files, and technical documents.
Prepare MOS, FAT/SAT procedures, test forms, and checklists.
Coordinate with vendors, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
Provide technical support during testing, commissioning, and fault finding.
Maintain compliance with quality, safety, and project standards.
Review documents for accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
Prepare and submit test and commissioning reports in a timely manner.
