Job summary
Parsons in Qatar is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer (Theme Park and Entertainment) to join the Construction Supervision Consultant team. You will supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems for a landmark hospitality and entertainment development.
The role requires reviewing shop drawings, coordinating with architectural, structural, and ride systems, and ensuring compliance with codes, schedules, and QA/QC.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Professional Engineer/Chartered Engineer preferred.
- Minimum 12 years supervising electrical works in hospitality/entertainment projects.
- Experience with themed entertainment developments and ride power systems.
Responsibilities
- Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems.
- Review shop drawings and material submittals for compliance.
- Coordinate interfaces with architectural, structural, mechanical, and ride systems.
- Witness inspections and testing and support commissioning.
- Monitor QA/QC and ensure adherence to schedules and safety.
- Support Resident Engineer with technical clarifications and variations.
- Collaborate with vendors, operators, and authorities to ensure readiness.
- Prepare technical reports and handover documentation.
