Job summary

Petrotec Group is seeking an Electrical Condition Monitoring Engineer to evaluate the health of electrical systems, perform diagnostic tests, and propose corrective actions to minimize downtime. The role requires hands-on testing, data analysis, and reporting to support reliable, safe operations in oil, gas, or utilities settings.

Responsibilities include PD, VLF, Tan Delta testing, MCSA fault detection, HV/MV motor and switchgear assessments, and adherence to IEC/IEEE standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is required.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in electrical condition monitoring.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Power & Utilities sectors.
• Hands-on diagnostic testing and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate health of electrical equipment and monitor condition.
• Perform inspections and diagnostic tests; analyze data.
• Identify potential failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues to minimize downtime.
• Prepare technical reports with findings and recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with IEC/IEEE standards and safety procedures.
• Support regional industrial projects and field implementations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for reliability improvements.
