Job summary

Power International Holding seeks an experienced Data Engineer to design, develop, and own our governed data architecture supporting EPMO reporting, analytics, and assurance activities. You will build scalable data models and automated ETL/ELT pipelines integrating SAP, Primavera P6, and diverse enterprise systems.

You will lead data integration efforts, optimize semantic layers, and establish robust data governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 8–12 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, BI, or Enterprise Analytics.
• Strong SQL expertise with complex joins, CTEs, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI tools and enterprise reporting environments.
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines with Azure Data Factory, SSIS, or similar.
• Proven integration experience with SAP, Primavera P6, ERP systems, and project management tools.
• Knowledge of data governance, lineage, metadata, and data quality frameworks.
• Python for data processing and automation.
• Experience with Git and modern data engineering practices.
• Familiarity with GCC/MENA multi-entity reporting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and own governed data architecture for EPMO reporting analytics.
• Build scalable dimensional data models and datasets for reporting.
• Implement automated ETL/ELT pipelines and data refresh schedules.
• Lead Primavera P6 data integration transforming schedule data into analytic models.
• Develop calculations for schedule variance, earned value, and critical path analysis.
• Establish data governance standards with validation, lineage and audit-ready processes.
• Ensure metrics are traceable from reports to source systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Support AI initiatives with governed high-quality datasets for models.
