Job summary

Confidential is seeking an experienced Data Lead to steer data governance, management, acquisition, and ingestion. The role guides Data Architects, Engineers, and Scientists to deliver scalable, business-focused data solutions while ensuring quality, privacy, and security across data platforms.

You will drive data strategies, mentor multidisciplinary teams, and align data initiatives with business objectives, fostering data-driven decision-making across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Data Lead to provide leadership across data governance, data management, data acquisition, and data ingestion. The role will be responsible for establishing effective data practices, ensuring data quality and security, and leading technical data teams toward scalable and business-oriented solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead data governance, management, acquisition, and ingestion functions

Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in Data Governance, Enterprise Data Management, Business Intelligence, and Advanced Analytics
• Experience in ICT, digital platforms, smart-city initiatives, or other large-scale technology environments is an advantage
• Proven ability to lead and provide clear direction to multidisciplinary data teams
• Strong understanding of the strategic and business value of data management and data monetization
• Ability to assess data management capabilities from both technical and business perspectives
• Demonstrated leadership and execution experience in large-scale programs involving multiple stakeholders
• Strong expertise in Big Data Engineering and Cloud Data Platforms, preferably Azure
• Good understanding of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence concepts and applications
• Strong knowledge of Data Architecture and Data Governance, including Master Data Management (MDM), data quality, data security, and data integration
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and decision-making skills
