Job summary

BAE Systems Strategic Aerospace Services WLL in Doha, Qatar, seeks an experienced Senior Specialist - Cybersecurity to strengthen cyber resilience, governance, and technology risk management across the organization.

You will lead risk assessments, govern regulatory compliance, secure on-premises and cloud solutions, oversee monitoring and incident response, and provide guidance to stakeholders to enable secure project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of cybersecurity experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise across security operations, governance, incident response, cloud security, and security architecture.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, GIAC, GCIH, ECIH, or Security+ are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity risk assessments, governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Review and secure on-premises, cloud, and digital technology solutions.
• Oversee security monitoring, incident response, threat management, and remediation.
• Manage security technologies including SIEM, EDR, PAM, DLP, email security, and cloud security platforms.
• Coordinate penetration testing, security audits, and third-party security assessments.
• Provide cybersecurity guidance to business stakeholders and support secure delivery of technology projects.
• Prepare risk, compliance, and security assurance reports for management.
