Job summary

The Intensivist/Critical Care Specialist at EWS in QA will diagnose, treat and support critically ill patients, including trauma and multi-organ failure cases. You will lead rounds, supervise teams, and coordinate care across departments to ensure high-quality outcomes.

You are expected to participate in committees, drive department development, manage on-call coverage, and engage in research and advanced procedures as required by the Head of Department.

Qualifications

• Current and in good standing medical license to practice in country of residence.
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex medical information to patients and families.
• ERP SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient support for hemodynamic instability and ventilation support.
• Conduct rounds and supervision of inpatients and screening of outpatients.
• Organize, monitor and maintain clinical services to achieve high-quality patient care with optimal resources.
• Assume direct responsibility for patients under medical attendance in the unit.
• Participate in hospital committees for service upgrading and department development plans.
• Schedule on-call duties and provide on-call services.
• Assess and update drug, medical supply and equipment needs.
• Write and approve medical reports and participate in research activities.
• Perform special procedures as privileged and adhere to organizational policies.
