Job summary

Qatar Design Consortium is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead and coordinate construction activities for large-scale projects in Doha. You will manage contractors, lead multidisciplinary teams, and ensure delivery within scope, schedule, and budget while maintaining high HSE standards.

The role requires strong leadership, contract administration, and proven ability to manage complex stakeholder interfaces.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of good construction practices and Qatar Construction Specifications.
• Multidisciplinary coordination and leadership capabilities.
• Knowledge of local regulations and Applicable Standards.
• Strong project management and contract administration skills.
• Experience in construction supervision and stakeholder management.
• Proven ability to review progress, manage risks, and control budgets.
• Excellent communication, report writing and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage construction contractors and delivering projects through the construction phase
• Lead the Multidisciplinary supervision team and manage day-to-day project operations
• Ensure project delivery within approved scope schedule and budget
• Review and monitor contractor progress and performance
• Manage project risks and implement mitigation measures
• Conduct progress meetings with clients contractors and stakeholders
• Monitor contractor performance to ensure compliance with project requirements specifications quality standards and programme commitments
• Ensure safe delivery of works in accordance with project HSE requirements and industry best practices
• Oversee inspection and testing activities
• Ensure timely resolution of technical and contractual issues
• Coordinate and manage site interfaces between contractors authorities designers client stakeholders and operational teams
• Maintain effective communication with all project stakeholders
• Review and monitor construction schedules progress reports and recovery plans
• Identify construction risks and implement mitigation measures to minimize impacts on programme and budget
• Lead site inspections quality reviews testing commissioning and handover activities
• Support change management variation reviews and commercial assessments
• Chair site meetings and coordinate resolution of technical delivery-related issues
• Ensure construction activities comply with statutory regulations permits and operational constraints
• Prepare and present project progress reports to senior stakeholders and programme leadership
• Track project KPIs and recommend corrective actions where required
• Promote a culture of collaboration continuous improvement and delivery excellence across the project team
