Job summary

Malomatia, a Qatar-based IT services leader, seeks an experienced Cloudflare Security Engineer to own end-to-end application delivery and security across Cloudflare and OPSWAT platforms.

The role requires hands-on Cloudflare expertise, WAF configuration, SSO setup, and edge Workers development, with additional support for Palo Alto, Fortigate, and F5 platforms. Qatar-based on-site role with a focus on secure, scalable delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in application delivery, WAF, and content security engineering.
• Hands-on expertise with Cloudflare (Domains, WAF Rules, Rate Limiting, SSO, Workers) and OPSWAT file scanning.
• Secondary knowledge of Palo Alto, Fortigate, F5 LTM/WAF and GTM platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage Cloudflare environment across onboarded domains: DNS, WAF rules, rate limits, custom hostnames, and IP/hostname lists.
• Own domain onboarding and lifecycle management within Cloudflare with consistent security baselines.
• Configure Cloudflare SSO Applications for secure authentication.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain Cloudflare Workers for edge logic and security automation.
• Maintain hostname and IP lists to support WAF and access-control policies.
• Triage, analyze, and act on OPSWAT file scans; review false positives.
• Tune WAF rules across Cloudflare and supporting platforms to reduce false positives.
• Support Palo Alto and Fortigate firewalls including policy management.
• Support F5 LTM/WAF and GTM administration (virtual servers, pools, health monitors).
• Monitor Cloudflare analytics/logs and drive root-cause analysis for anomalies.
• Document domain configurations, WAF rule sets, and related settings.
• Coordinate with infra and security teams on change management for major config changes.
