Job summary

Malomatia in Doha, Qatar, is seeking an experienced security and application delivery specialist to own end-to-end delivery of web app protections and traffic management across F5 BIG-IP, GTM, FortiWeb, and OPSWAT. You will lead SSL/TLS lifecycle, high availability, API protection, bot mitigation, and automation via REST API, Terraform and Ansible, building resilient, scalable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 8+ years with F5 BIG-IP and FortiWeb in enterprise environments.
• Experience with content disarm & reconstruction (CDR) / multi-scanning platforms (OPSWAT) is desirable.
• Working knowledge of infrastructure-as-code and automation (Terraform, Ansible, REST API/AS3).

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage F5 BIG-IP LTM: virtual servers, pools, health monitors, persistence profiles, and traffic steering.
• Administer F5 GTM for global DNS-based load balancing and pool/health monitor management.
• Own SSL/TLS lifecycle across the app delivery stack: offloading, certificates, TLS hardening.
• Design and maintain High Availability: clustering, config sync, failover, resiliency.
• Manage Web Application Protection: OWASP Top 10, policies, API protection, bot mitigation, rate limiting, IP intelligence.
• Lead BIG-IP and FortiWeb deployment, TMOS/firmware upgrades, backup/restore, lifecycle management.
• Integrate FortiWeb with OCI Load Balancer and other cloud LB services for L7 inspection.
• Manage OPSWAT file scanning platform for data-in-transit/at-rest; triage results.
• Maintain scanning policies and workflows for secure file transfer.
• Drive Infrastructure Automation using REST API, AS3, Terraform, Ansible.
• Perform health/performance monitoring, logging, analytics, RCA; vulnerability assessment and patching.
