Job summary

Power International Holding (PIH) is seeking a cloud application specialist in Qatar. The role involves developing and implementing cloud-based solutions leveraging PaaS and IaaS offerings, ensuring best practices in cloud security, and providing technical guidance. Candidates should have a solid background in cloud platforms and programming, with a Bachelor's in IT or related field.

The ideal applicant will have at least 8 years of experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a familiarity with ERP systems, preferably SAP.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years working experience with 5 years in relevant field.
• 2 years experience with GCC preferred.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native development frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cloud-based applications and solutions.
• Design and architect cloud-native applications using microservices.
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud applications and infrastructure.

Skills

Cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

Programming languages (Python, Java, Node.js)

Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

Infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation)

ERP knowledge, preferably SAP

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field
