Job summary

Snoonu, Qatar’s homegrown Super App, is seeking a senior backend engineer to design scalable services built on .NET Core 8. You will work across systems, optimize data models in PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and DynamoDB, and drive robust test coverage.

You'll participate in architecture discussions, perform code reviews, and mentor teammates while delivering reliable deployments in production. Join a fast-growing, globally connected team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of backend development experience.
• 5+ years with .NET Core.
• Proficiency in RESTful services and gRPC.
• Expertise in relational and non-relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Design and build backend services using .NET Core 8.
• Optimize database performance with efficient data models.
• Participate in system design discussions for scalable architecture.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure coding standards.
• Refactor code for readability and performance.
• Write unit and integration tests with high coverage.
• Troubleshoot production and development issues.
• Document architectural decisions and systems.
• Participate in production deployments and post-release validation.
