Job summary

Novitas Technology in Doha is seeking a Senior Android Developer to lead the evolution of our enterprise mobile suite. You will architect a 100% Jetpack Compose-based UI and enable Kotlin Multiplatform sharing of core business logic.

You will integrate on-device AI with Gemini Nano and AICore, implement offline-first synchronization with Room and Work Manager, and drive performance with Baseline Profiles and macrobenchmarking.

Qualifications

• 5+ years native Android experience with Kotlin, Coroutines, and Flow.
• Deep experience with declarative UI, state management (MVI/MVVM), and Material 3 Expressive components.
• Security-minded with Identity Services (OpenID/OAuth2), biometrics, and hardware-backed keystore.
• Experience with Window Size Classes for tablets, foldables, and Chrome OS.
• Testing advocacy with JUnit 5 and Espresso; familiarity with KMP testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead evolution of enterprise mobile suite with 100% Jetpack Compose.
• Architect Kotlin Multiplatform to share core logic across platforms.
• Integrate local LLMs and AI features using Gemini Nano and AICore.
• Architect Offline-First synchronization using Room and Work Manager.
• Tune performance with Baseline Profiles and Macrobenchmarking to ensure top speed.
