Job summary

Arabic.AI is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to build AI applications for public sector clients. You will work directly with client teams to understand challenges and deliver production-grade, full-stack AI solutions that scale for citizens.

Responsibilities include partnering with clients on-site, architecting and deploying UI to APIs, managing cloud infrastructure, and collaborating with design, product, data, and QA teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of full-stack software engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong React, TypeScript, and Next.js skills.
• Backend with Python or Node.js and PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
• Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud provider experience (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Experience with LLMs and Generative AI concepts.

• Partner with public sector clients to scope requirements, gather feedback, and deliver solutions, including regular time on-site at client offices.
• Architect and build production-grade applications that integrate AI models, from interactive UIs to backend APIs and systems.
• Deploy and manage infrastructure in cloud and client environments, ensuring security, scalability, and reliability.
• Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot end-to-end solutions within customer infrastructure.
• Contribute to reusable platform features that serve multiple client use cases.
• Work closely with design, product, data, and QA teams to deliver solutions aligned with the overall architecture.
• 7+ years of full-stack software engineering experience, building production-grade applications.

• Strong proficiency in React (required), TypeScript, and Next.js.
• Backend experience with Python and/or Node.js, and PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and at least one cloud provider (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Experience building solutions with LLMs and a solid understanding of the Generative AI landscape.
• Self-starter, comfortable with ambiguous requirements and working directly with clients.
• Excellent written and spoken English, with strong async communication.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Arabic.
• Previous experience as a Forward Deployed Engineer or Customer Engineer.
• Experience working with government or public sector clients.
• Experience working cross-functionally with operations teams.
