Job summary

Doha British School seeks an experienced educator to lead SEN policy development and coordinate SEN provision across our Ain Khaled Campus. The role focuses on day-to-day SEN operations, guidance for staff, and collaboration with families and external agencies.

You will drive inclusion and evidence-based practices to support pupils with diverse needs. The successful candidate will have a recognised teaching degree, PGCE/QTS with an Early Career Teaching Certificate, and strong knowledge of

Qualifications

• Recognised educational degree in teaching; UK/IB context preferred.
• PGCE or QTS with Early Career Teaching Certificate (subject-relevant degree).
• Exceptional subject knowledge of the National Curriculum of England.
• Experience teaching IGCSE, AS/A Level and IB.
• National Award for SEN Coordination or equivalent (preferred).
• Ability to lead SEN policy development and coordinate provision.
• Provide professional guidance to staff, parents, and agencies.
• Set high expectations and drive progression for SEN students.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of SEN policy and ensure effective provision for pupils with SEN or disabilities.
