Job summary

Nord Anglia Education is recruiting an Accounts Assistant (AR) for Etqan Global Academy in Doha, Qatar. The role handles cash receipts, reconciliations, and fee collection with a strong customer-service focus.

The successful candidate will hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, have 2+ years in finance or AR, and be bilingual in English and Arabic to support our school community.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in finance, cashiering, or AR.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer focus.
• Ability to handle high-volume workload and competing priorities.
• School experience is desirable; knowledge of Qatar regulations is preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Arabic is essential.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process cash, cheque, and electronic payments for tuition, activities, events, and field trips.
• Maintain accurate financial records, receipts, invoices, deposits, and reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding fees with timely reminders.
• Generate daily transaction summaries and revenue reports as required.
• Process refunds and manage fee-related email communications.
• Ensure compliance with school policies and Qatar financial regulations.
• Collaborate with administrative staff, teachers, and leadership for smooth operations.
