Job summary

Nord Anglia Education is recruiting a Secondary Arabic Teacher for Etqan Global Academy (EGA) in Doha, Qatar. The role focuses on delivering a bespoke Arabic curriculum and preparing students for IGCSE and the IB Diploma Programme.

The successful candidate will have a university degree in Arabic, teaching qualifications, and experience in international schools, including post-16 and IB levels. You will contribute to the school community and participate in after-school programs.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience teaching within an International School.
• Experience of teaching Arabic at post-16 and IB Diploma level.

Responsibilities

• Delivering a bespoke Arabic curriculum and preparing students for external examinations at IGCSE and IB Diploma level.
• Creating a learning culture where students are supported, challenged and inspired to achieve.
• Developing language, literacy and communication fluency within lessons alongside subject content.
• Mapping pathways for all students to progress in Arabic, including individual targets.
• Teaching Arabic as a Second Language at IGCSE level and beyond, including post-16 and IB Diploma.
