Job summary

Al Meera Consumer Goods Company (Q.P.S.C.) in Doha, Qatar, is seeking a skilled SAP Basis Administrator for a full-time on-site role. The successful candidate will install, configure, and maintain SAP systems, ensuring performance and reliability in a dynamic retail IT environment.

You will manage system administration tasks, coordinate database activities, apply patches, monitor security, and work with IT and business teams on ongoing projects and enhancements.

Qualifications

• Strong SAP Basis and Basis Administration skills including installation, configuration, and performance tuning.
• Solid System Administration skills for servers, operating systems, and SAP landscapes.
• Database Administration skills for maintaining, optimizing, and securing underlying databases supporting SAP systems.
• Advanced Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve system, performance, and integration issues.
• Relevant bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience with SAP system upgrades, support packages, and transport management.
• Knowledge of security, backup, recovery, and high-availability concepts within SAP environments.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Professional SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Basis or SAP Technology) are an advantage.

Role Description

The SAP Basis Administrator role at almeera is a full-time, on-site position based in Doha, Qatar. The SAP Basis Administrator will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining SAP systems, including performance tuning and system monitoring. Daily tasks include managing system administration activities, coordinating database administration tasks, applying patches and upgrades, and ensuring system availability and reliability. The SAP Basis Administrator will also contribute to system documentation, backup and recovery procedures, and adherence to security and compliance standards.
