Job summary

Avanceon seeks a proactive Safety Supervisor in Doha, Qatar to lead HSE compliance across operations, conduct risk assessments, training, and incident investigations while ensuring a strong safety culture and meticulous record‑keeping.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in a Safety Supervisor role, NEBOSH or IOSH certification, and familiarity with Ashghal and QCS 2014; proficiency in MS Office and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH or IOSH certification is mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Safety Supervisor.
• Knowledge of Ashghal requirements and QCS 2014.
• Ashghal-approved Safety Supervisor will be given preference.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety training sessions on emergency response, hazardous materials handling, accident prevention, and safe work practices.
• Perform regular site safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and non-compliance.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies, local regulations, client requirements, and applicable HSE regulations.
• Monitor PPE use and enforce adherence to safety procedures.
• Investigate workplace accidents and near misses to determine root causes and corrective actions.
• Maintain safety records and documentation.
