Job summary

Waagner Biro Bridge Services, part of the Egis Group, seeks an experienced HSE Supervisor in Qatar to ensure compliance with project health and safety objectives.

The role involves supervising HSE on site, reviewing HSE plans, and advising clients, supervisors, and staff to uphold policies and procedures.

Candidates should hold NEBOSH/OSHA diploma, IOSH membership, and have at least 3 years of relevant experience; English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in NEBOSH/OSHA or equivalent required.
• Grad IOSH/Tech IOSH membership preferred.
• Qatar driving license would be an advantage.
• Minimum 3 years relevant HSE experience.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with client objectives, policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Oversee health & safety aspects of the project on site.
• Review documents such as HSE plan and Emergency preparedness plans.
• Advise client, supervisors and employees to fulfil HSE responsibilities.
• Ensure implementation of the latest work zone traffic management guide.
• Conduct contractor safety appraisals by reviewing safety documents.
• Define and produce all HSE reports and dashboards.
• Adhere to HSE policy and update procedures as required.

- to ensure compliance with the client objectives, polices procedures, standard and guidelines

- Responsible for overall supervision of health & safety related aspects of the project

- conduct review of available documents such as HSE plan, Emergency preparedness plans..etc

- Advice and provide health and safety support to the client, supervisors, and employees enable them to fulfil their HSE responsibilities

- ensure implemented of last version of work zone traffic management guide

- conduct contractor appraisals by reviewing necessary safety documents and systems

- define, implement and manage production of all H&S reports

- Ensure adherence to health and safety policy and procedure and comply with any new work instruction

Holder of diploma in NEBOSH, OSHA or equivalent

Grad IOSH/ Tech IOSH membership

Holder of certificate in temporary Traffic Management working

Qatar driving licnece would be an advantage

Experience minimum 3 years relevant experiences
