Job summary
Workato is seeking a Merchandiser - Retail Specialist in Al-Khor, Qatar to manage visual presentation and promotions in retail stores. You will drive sales and brand awareness through effective merchandising strategies.
You will collaborate with store managers, monitor inventory, analyze sales and help with product launches and promotional events. Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus. Accommodation and visa sponsorship are provided.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in retail merchandising or similar role.
- Strong merchandising knowledge and best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Proficiency with MS Office; design software a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute merchandising plans to showcase products in stores.
- Collaborate with store managers for optimal product placement and availability.
- Monitor inventory levels and advise on restocking or discontinuation.
- Conduct market research on consumer trends and preferences.
- Analyze sales data to identify opportunities to improve performance.
- Train staff on product features and selling techniques.
- Create displays highlighting features and promotions.
- Ensure adherence to brand standards in all visuals.
- Assist with new product launches and promotional events.
