Job summary

Avanta Works in Doha, Qatar is seeking a Merchandiser to manage store inventory, keep shelves well stocked and attractive, and regularly assess customer feedback to spot new trends for stock planning.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in retail management or merchandising and excellent communication skills. We are ready to consider a foreigner with no prior experience, but knowledge of Arabic is a plus. Salary offered is 1200 QAR per month.

Responsibilities

• Developing relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and placing orders for products;
• Analyzing sales figures and forecasting future sales volumes;
• Establishing order priorities and maintaining accurate records of all transactions;
• Assisting with the placement of products in the store;
• Monitoring stock levels, ensuring that product availability meets customer demand;
• Maintaining a high level of customer service at all times.
