Merchandiser in Doha, Qatar

We are looking for a Merchandiser to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management and coordination of all merchandising activities to ensure maximum sales and profitability. This includes overseeing the selection, display, pricing, promotion and distribution of products in our stores.

The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in merchandising or related fields. We are open to considering foreign applicants as well as local applicants.

Core responsibilities of a Merchandiser include:

• Analyzing customer feedback and market trends to prioritize product lines according to their potential profitability;
• Working with store managers, suppliers and other departments to ensure that the right product is available in the right stores at the right time;
• Developing promotional strategies that aim to increase sales and build brand loyalty;
• Creating attractive displays that draw customers’ attention to specific products;
• Keeping track of inventory levels and replenishing stock when needed;
• Ensuring that all products are priced correctly and discounts are applied accordingly;
• Keeping up with industry best practices regarding product placement, pricing, promotions, etc.;
• Ensuring store compliance with all relevant laws and regulations;
• Performing regular audits of stores to check for discrepancies in prices or displays.

The successful candidate should be well organized, detail oriented and have excellent communication skills. They should also have a good understanding of market trends, customer needs and retail operations.
