Job summary

University of Doha for Science and Technology invites applications for Respiratory Therapy faculty at the Assistant/Associate Professor rank within the College of Health Sciences.

The successful candidate will develop, deliver and evaluate courses, assess student progress, and collaborate with industry while supporting accreditation activities. A PhD in Respiratory Therapy or related field with licensure eligibility and relevant teaching and clinical experience is required.

Qualifications

• PhD or Doctorate in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
• Unrestricted license eligibility in the country of the program.
• NBRC/CSRT credentials preferred.
• Minimum five years of full-time academic experience.
• Minimum two years of full-time clinical practice.
• Experience in curriculum development, implementation and evaluation.
• Diverse teaching approaches including laboratory, simulation and practicums.
• Digital literacy and proficiency with educational technology.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver and evaluate courses in Respiratory Therapy.
• Evaluate student progress and manage learning resources.
• Collaborate with industry and other educational institutions; participate in advisory committees.
• Maintain accreditation-related course portfolio documents and plans.
• Engage in instructional development and improvement activities.
• Contribute to professional and community life within the University.
