Job summary

Qatar Oil (QP) in Qatar seeks a Technical Operations Coordinator to support the Manufacturing Manager and ensure safe, efficient refinery operation. You will assess new projects with technical studies and economic evaluations, guiding decisions that affect performance and reliability.

Applicants should hold a Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent, with strong leadership, communication, and negotiating skills, and extensive refinery experience to drive KPI-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• 20 years post grad experience in Petroleum Refinery.
• Experience with economic assessments and project funding.
• Understanding of agreements.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to Manufacturing Manager for safe, efficient refinery operations.
• Review technical studies, testimonials and economic evaluations of new projects.
• Develop departmental KPIs and drive refinery efficiency improvements.
• Identify and implement new tasks and company initiatives to enhance performance.
