Job summary

Al Ali Engineering Co.WLL in Qatar is seeking a senior Quantity Surveyor with a Bachelor’s degree and 12 years of experience in building construction. The role requires strong post-award expertise across architectural, civil/structural, and finishing packages, plus detailed quantity measurement and interim valuations.

Candidates with Gulf/Qatar construction experience and hands-on familiarity with FIDIC contracts, variation pricing, claims, and final accounts will fit best.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 12 years of relevant Quantity Surveying experience in building construction.
• Strong post-award experience covering architectural, civil/structural, and finishing packages.
• Proven expertise in detailed quantity measurement, interim valuations, and subcontractor certification.
• Experience in variation pricing, claims, and final accounts is an advantage.
• Gulf/Qatar construction experience strongly preferred, with good knowledge of local authority and utility requirements.
• Hands-on experience working under FIDIC or comparable standard forms of contract.
• Strong knowledge of commercial management, cost control, and subcontract administration.
