Job summary

Maytag Aircraft seeks a Fuel Distribution Systems Operator (FDSO) in Qatar. The role entails receiving, handling, and issuing petroleum products using Type III hydrants and associated distribution systems.

The operator will ensure safety, QA, and accurate documentation while maintaining fuel facilities and monitoring gauges and samples. Responsibilities include maintenance of bulk storage facilities, preparing transfer documents, and performing routine housekeeping on terminal and dock areas.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two-years experience with Type III Hydrant systems
• Pre-employment physical and drug-screening
• Current Secret level clearance
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays and after-hours as needed

Responsibilities

• Receive, handle, and issue petroleum products with accuracy and safety
• Prepare and check receiving, transfer and close-out documents
• Connect loading hoses/arm to tank truck and barge; ground lines
• Gauge tanks for water, temperature, and fuel levels; monitor samples
• Perform preventive maintenance on bulk storage facilities and conduct routine housekeeping
