Job summary

Apply Now in Qatar seeks an experienced QA/QC specialist to ensure compliance across EPC project execution and handover, with reporting to the Head of Projects QA/QC and support to the Project Management Team.

The role covers offshore LNG projects, valve inspection, welding and NDT oversight, ITPs and NCRs, and coordination of procurement, fabrication, installation, commissioning, and offshore modifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector and NDT Level II certifications (RT, UT, MT, PT).
• ISO 9001:2015 Lead/Internal Auditor certification.
• Valid OPITO TBOSIET, H2S, Breathing Apparatus, and offshore medical certifications.
• 10+ years’ oil & gas QA/QC experience, including offshore LNG projects.
• Expertise in valve inspection (MOVs, SDVs, DBBs), testing, and manufacturing.
• Knowledge of API, ASME, AWS, NACE, ISO, and relevant industry standards.
• Experience in inspections, audits, ITPs, NCRs, source inspection, and QA/QC programs.
• Skilled in welding, NDT, coating, mechanical, E&I, and construction quality processes.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary QA/QC teams and shutdown activities.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and computer skills.
• Experience with procurement, fabrication, installation, commissioning, and offshore modifications.
