Katch International is seeking an experienced Freelance PR Consultant to support our growing client portfolio in Qatar. The role centers on strategic PR consultancy, media relations, and influencer collaboration within the Qatar market.

Based in Qatar or with deep market experience, you will manage campaigns, coordinate events, and act as the liaison between clients, media, and internal teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in public relations with a track record in media relations and PR campaigns.
• Established network of media and influencer contacts within the Qatar market.
• Strong understanding of Qatar’s media landscape, culture, and consumer trends.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, stakeholder management, and client servicing.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams and clients.
• Previous agency experience is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Support

• Provide strategic PR consultancy and market-specific insights for Qatar, including guidance on media trends, cultural considerations, audience behaviour, campaign positioning, and relevant opportunities.

Media Relations

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts across Qatar.
• Proactively manage media outreach, secure editorial coverage, coordinate interviews, and identify relevant press opportunities for clients.

Influencer Relations

• Identify and engage relevant influencers and content creators in Qatar.
• Manage partnerships and collaborations, coordinate product seeding where applicable, and oversee content approvals to ensure successful campaign execution.

PR Campaign & Event Support

• Support the planning and execution of PR campaigns, media events, product launches, press conferences, and brand activations in Qatar.
• Act as the primary liaison between clients, media, influencers, and internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
