Job summary

Base Career invites applicants for a faculty position to teach public health, basic sciences, and oral and maxillofacial radiology within an undergraduate dental curriculum in Doha, Qatar. The role combines classroom and clinical instruction, research, curriculum work, and university service.

The successful candidate will teach anatomy and radiology, lead labs, participate in research, and contribute to curriculum development while meeting licensing requirements in Qatar.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent in oral radiology or related field required.
• Dental degree is required for eligibility to practice academically.
• Eligibility for Qatar licensing is required.
• Prior teaching experience in undergraduate dental or medical education preferred.
• Strong research and publication record is essential.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and organizational skills are expected.

Responsibilities

• Teach head and neck anatomy, oral and maxillofacial radiology, and basic medical and dental sciences.
• Provide clinical and didactic oral and maxillofacial radiology instruction to undergraduate dental students.
• Lead teaching in oral and maxillofacial radiology labs and clinics.
• Participate in research protocols and collaborate with the dental research team.
• Contribute to curriculum development and management of relevant courses and modules.
• Serve on departmental and university committees.
