Qualifications

• DDS/DMD degree from an accredited college or university.
• Extensive knowledge of all aspects of dentistry including diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Proven experience as a Dentist or similar role.
• Proficient in the use of diagnostic equipment such as X-ray machines.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat patients' dental problems.
• Examine teeth, gums, and related tissues.
• Perform preventative dental procedures such as cleaning and fluoride applications.
• Take X-rays of teeth and develop films.
• Remove decay from teeth, fill cavities, place sealants, and perform other treatments as needed.
• Repair fractured teeth or replace them with artificial substitutes.
• Provide instruction on proper dental hygiene to patients.
