Job summary

Rixos Premium Qetaifan Island North is seeking a Public Area Attendant to maintain the cleanliness of all public spaces, including lobbies, restrooms, hallways and guest areas. You will follow safety procedures and coordinate with departments to ensure a welcoming environment.

This role requires attention to detail, ability to lift and move items, and a collaborative approach with hotel teams. Flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, are expected to support guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or a similar role.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items, including linens and cleaning equipment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Basic knowledge of housekeeping procedures and safety standards (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all assigned public areas including restrooms, lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, and back-of-house spaces.
• Vacuum carpets, dust surfaces, polish furniture, and clean windows, mirrors, and glass doors.
• Replenish supplies in public restrooms and ensure they are consistently clean and stocked.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
• Empty trash and recycling bins in public and service areas.
• Ensure cleanliness and presentation of entrances, guest areas, and exterior walkways.
• Follow safety, security, and health procedures at all times.
• Respond to guest requests courteously and promptly or refer them to the appropriate department.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and according to procedures.

Public Area Attendant

The Public Area Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of all public areas in the hotel, including lobbies, restrooms, hallways, elevators, and other guest and employee areas.
