Job summary

Global Projects Services AG in Qatar seeks a senior Package Manager to lead mechanical package execution within large EPC projects for the Oil & Gas and energy sectors. You will drive scope definition, schedules, budgets and interfaces across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.

The role emphasizes project management, risk control and delivery of mechanical equipment on megaprojects in the Middle East, with focus on offshore and complex multidisciplinary interfaces.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 15 years in Oil & Gas, Energy, Offshore or EPC.
  • Experience as Package Manager, Project Manager, Work Package Manager, or equivalent on large EPC projects.
  • Mega EPC projects with complex multidisciplinary scopes and multiple interfaces.
  • Proven experience managing mechanical equipment and package delivery during project execution.
  • Offshore and Middle East project experience is advantageous.
  • Focused on package execution and project management; detailed design background not required.
  • Strong package management, project execution, procurement, construction and delivery in major EPC projects encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Manage package interfaces across multiple disciplines, contractors, suppliers, and client representatives.
  • Monitor package progress, identify risks and deviations, and implement recovery actions when required.
