Job summary

ECG Engineering Consultants Group S.A. is looking for an experienced Project Manager in Qatar to oversee construction planning and activities. # Project Manager# Project Manager**Job Location:** Qatar**Job Type:** Full Time**Scope of Work:**• Assists, as applicable, in the construction planning effort at early stages of projects, e.g., studying the constructability of the project’s design, availability of construction materials on site, and accompanying the Project Manager on an early site visit to collect information on: job site conditions; labor; sub-contractors; construction materials; and all other matters affecting the construction operations. • While in the home office, he is responsible for providing the construction input to Project Procedures and Quality Management Plan, construction planning, developing the requirements for the project site infrastructure, preparation of field staffing schedules and job descriptions, analyzing and determining the construction equipment requirements and developing the field organization chart. • During the Bases of Design Report (BODR) Phase, reviews and approves the construction schedule and plan of approach and provides construction advice on the engineering design. • Works, as applicable, with the Technical Review Committee of the project in reviewing the design, construction tender documents. • When participating in contractors tendered evaluation, he directs the staff of tenders’ evaluation and prepares the evaluation report. • Moves with a nucleus staff to the site prior to start of construction to supervise the implementation of temporary facilities; arrange for other needed services such as communications, employee housing, medical services, transportation and construction equipment; and to establish a base of operations. • Sets forth ECG responsibilities for site operations in accordance with the project contract and ECG Manuals. • Acts as a prime interface between the Client and the Contractor(s). • Makes the best to the project by himself and his staff (time, quality and cost control). • Directs/supervises all construction activities and acts as the construction representative of ECG and in charge of all site work. • Ensures together with ECG management that the proper staff is available for inputting and maintaining the Field Control/Report. • Prepares necessary daily, weekly and monthly progress reports. • Reviews the Progress and Completion Reports prepared by Contractor. • Studies and approves the Contractors Claims. • Reviews the Contractors Valuations (Payments).**More Than 20 years of experience**## Apply for this positionAfghan▾Allowed Type(s): .pdf
