Job summary

Mekdam Technical Services in Doha is seeking a Project Engineering Lead (Warranty) with a strong background in warranty claims and resolution in the Oil & Gas industry. Candidates should have at least eight years' experience in project functions including management and engineering, with a minimum of five years' experience in project execution.

The ideal candidate will also have local experience, which is preferred. A Bachelor's degree in sciences or engineering is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree sciences or engineering.

Knowledge and/or Experience

• Eight (8) years' experience in multiple project functions and assignments, e.g., project management, engineering, construction, procurement, etc. in the Oil & Gas Industry, including one (1) year experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of contractor/sub‑contractors/service/vendor personnel.
• Minimum five (5) years' experience in Project Execution, with a strong background in commissioning and startup, three (3) years' experience in warranty coordination.
• Proven experience with Warranty claims and resolution.
• Experience with major and first tier EPC Contractors, Sub‑Contractors and Vendors involved in the oil and gas industry.
• Experience with regular LNG operations, Cause and effect and debottlenecking of operation unplanned downtime caused by DEFECTS.
• Local experience is preferred.
