Job summary

Danem Engineering Works W.L.L in Qatar is seeking a Project Director to provide strategic and operational leadership for major projects. The role requires 20–25 years of senior-level experience delivering multidisciplinary EPC projects, with a strong mechanical engineering foundation and proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and stakeholders.

The successful candidate will direct end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery, coordinate with clients and contractors, and ensure compliance

Qualifications

• 20–25 years of senior-level project leadership experience.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams, budgets, and schedules.
• Strong understanding of safety, quality, and contractual requirements.
• Proven ability to deliver large complex EPC projects.

Responsibilities

• Direct end-to-end planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of major projects.
• Define objectives, execution strategies, schedules, budgets and performance targets.
• Lead multidisciplinary engineering, procurement, construction, and PM teams.
• Monitor costs, schedules, resources, quality, and contractual deliverables.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, engineering and contractual requirements.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation and recovery strategies.
• Provide senior management with regular reports on performance, milestones, risks, costs, and delivery status.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct end-to-end planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of assigned projects.
• Establish project objectives, execution strategies, schedules, budgets, and performance targets.
• Lead multidisciplinary engineering, procurement, construction, and project management teams.
• Monitor project costs, schedules, resources, quality, and contractual deliverables.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders throughout project execution.
• Ensure project activities comply with applicable quality, safety, engineering, and contractual requirements.
• Identify major project risks and implement appropriate mitigation and recovery strategies.
• Provide senior management with regular reports on project performance, milestones, risks, costs, and delivery status.
