We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead the governance and delivery of a major Core Banking Transformation Program. The successful candidate will provide end-to end program leadership, ensuring robust governance, timely delivery, budget adherence, risk management, stakeholder alignment and successful realization of strategic business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Core Banking PMO and oversee the portfolio of core banking initiatives and workstreams.
- Develop and manage the end-to-end Master Plan covering Core Banking and all related satellite systems.
- Ensure alignment across Business, Operations, Technology and Transformation functions.
- Monitor program health, milestones, dependencies, critical paths and delivery against agreed objectives.
- Provide executive-level reporting on program progress, risks, issues, dependencies and benefits realization.
- Drive delivery within agreed scope, timeline, budget and quality parameters.
- Manage complex interdependencies across multiple programs, projects and business units.
- Facilitate alignment among senior stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Prepare strategic updates, recommendations and decision papers for Senior Management and Steering Committees.
- Proactively identify program risks, develop mitigation plans and elevate critical issues with appropriate resolution strategies.
- Oversee program budgets, forecasts and financial controls.
- Support organisational readiness, communication and change management across functions impacted by the transformation.

Candidate Profile
- 15+ years of experience in Banking and Financial Services.
- At least 10+ years of experience in Core Banking Transformation, Implementation, Upgrade or Migration within a PMO, Program Management or Transformation Office environment.
- Proven experience in leading end-to-end Core Banking transformation/replacement programs.
- Strong expertise in Core Banking platforms, with Temenos or Oracle preferred.
- Strong capabilities in program governance, PMO management, delivery management, stakeholder management and banking domain knowledge.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stream transformation programs involving multiple business, technology and satellite systems.
- PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner certification is mandatory.
- Experience within local or regional banks is preferred.
Key Requirement
The ideal candidate must have demonstrated experience leading at least one end-to-end Core Banking implementation, preferably involving Temenos or Oracle.
