Job summary

IRM Energy & Technology seeks an experienced procurement leader for the Barzan Restoration Project in Qatar. You will oversee contractor procurement, ensure EPC contract compliance, and drive cost-effective, timely materials delivery aligned with project objectives.

You will manage tendering, evaluations, agreements, and handover, while developing plans for procurement, spares, and closeouts. Strong English and advocacy for best practices are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• 8 years’ business-related experience, including 4 years in Oil & Gas.
• Strong understanding of procurement best practices.
• In-depth knowledge of Oil & Gas procurement markets and key vendors.

Responsibilities

• Align procurement with PMT requirements and objectives.
• Manage LLI tendering, evaluation, agreements, and EPC handover.
• Develop Procurement, spares, bulk materials, and closeout plans.
• Monitor Contractor procurement, compliance, cost, schedule, and risks.
• Review Contractor purchasing and contracting documents.
• Ensure materials, spares, and materials management requirements are met.
• Monitor expediting and report delivery delays.

Oversees all Contractor procurement activities for the Barzan Restoration Project (BRP) assuring Procurements & Materials for the project meet EPC contract requirements, cost-effective, expedient, and in compliance with Company policies and procedures as well as complied by the Contractor.
